In rural villages, houses made of sticks, mud, sheet metal, tarps, and other random items is a common scene. By building houses, families will have a safe place to live and are relieved of one stressor. This allows them to focus on providing for their family in other ways, such as food, clothing, and education.  

Two houses have been built through the ministry of MDH. Now, a young couple and their 6 month old son have a safe place to live. Now, a family of five has a safe place to live. 

The next house that will be built is for a young couple with a new baby. Presently, the family does not have a house, but rather they live on the porch of another family's house. Whenever it rains, they have no choice, but to stand in the corner until it passes.

The cost of building a house is $4,000. That is all it takes to change a family's life forever.

MDH wants you to know that your donation goes directly to the work projects. We give you the option of a painted dedication on a portion of the house. Your family, small group, church, or business name can be painted.
